Hao-Ting Lin received his B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Engineering Science and Ocean Engineering from National Taiwan University in 2006, 2008, and 2012. In 2010, he was an exchange student in UC Berkeley, USA. From 2015 to 2018, he was an Assistant Professor with Department of Mechanical and Computer Aided Engineering from Feng Chia University in Taiwan. Now, he is an Associate Professor in the Department of Bio-Industrial Mechatronics Engineering and serves the Director of Agricultural Machinery Workshop in National Chung Hsing University. In 2024, he received an EMI program completion at The University of Adelaide in Australia. His research focuses on agriculture automation, robotics, machine vision, vision process in AI and system integration. He has authored about 100 international journal and conference publications. He also served as a Guest Editor for Special Issues of Actuators (ISSN 2076-0825).
