Dr. Wang′s research focuses on understanding the biology of plant pathogenic fungi, with expertise in fungal plant diseases. He is an Associate professor at National Chung Hsing University (NCHU), where he teaches courses on plant pathology, crop diseases, and disease diagnosis. He has served as the Director of the Agricultural Extension Center and the Master Program in Plant Medicine and Good Agricultural Practice at NCHU. Additionally, he has been a long-term consulting physician at the university’s Plant Teaching Hospital, contributing to plant disease diagnosis and management. Dr. Wang has also participated in quarantine and inspection projects under the Bureau of Animal and Plant Health Inspection and Quarantine. He has held leadership roles as a board member of several academic societies, including the Taiwan Phytopathological Society, the Mycological Society of the Republic of China, the Plant Protection of Republic of China, Chinese Sustainable Agriculture Association, and the Taiwan Biostimulant Society. Furthermore, he serves as an Associate Editor for Tropical Plant Biology and the Journal of Plant Medicine.
