Hsiao-Hsuan Wang′s recent research has focused on application of these techniques to topics ranging from endangered species management to management of invasive species to management of vectors of emerging diseases. She has been collaborating with multinational modeling groups sponsored by National Institute for Mathematical and Biological Synthesis (NIMBioS) and by the National Social-Environmental Synthesis Center (SESYNC), both based in the US, and by the Lorentz Center, based in the Netherlands. She currently serves as Editor-in-Chief for the journal Ecological Modelling, Editor for the journal Socio Environmental Systems Modelling, and Associate Editor for two journals including Biological Invasions and Plant Ecology.
